Mr. Andrew Dunks

Mr. Andrew Dunks graduated from Texas A&M University, magna cum laude, in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. He also holds a master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame, and master’s of Theology from both Episcopal and Orthodox Christian seminaries. He is a retired Episcopal priest, having served 20 years in parochial ministry and 10 years teaching Religious Studies at Episcopal boarding high schools. Having become a Christian after reading C.S. Lewis, Mr. Dunks shares Lewis’s passion for apologetics. He strives to show both the truth and the beauty of the Gospel in his work as a teacher, and he loves a classroom filled with engaged, spirited discussion. Mr. Dunks and his wife, Julie, are active at St. Cyprian of Carthage Orthodox Church in Midlothian. They share a love of reading, travel and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
