Ms. Claire Berry

Miss Claire Berry graduated from VCU with a bachelor of fine arts in Interior Design and a minor in Business. After a number of years in the design industry, she decided to share her passion for creativity and her love of children by becoming an art teacher. In the fall of 2016, Ms. Berry joined the faculty of two schools, one being Hunter Classical Christian School. She also uses her love for teaching and artistic gifts to instruct students at The Visual Arts Center of Richmond. As a teacher, she loves showing her students that they too can create as they express themselves through art. Her favorite things to share are drawing from God’s inspiring creation, as well as painting with watercolors. When Ms. Berry is not teaching, she creates for her business through painted jewelry and knits which are merchandised throughout the Richmond area at local shops and markets. Ms. Berry is an avid outdoor lover, novice gardener and adventure seeker.
