Mrs. Jennifer Winslow

Mrs. Jennifer Winslow graduated Magna Cum Laude from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a minor in Chemistry, and a concentration in Biotechnology. During college, she did undergraduate biochemistry research at the ECU Brody School of Medicine via a National Institutes of Health grant. For the past twenty-five years she has taught high school physical science, biology, and chemistry, as well as elementary science explorations. She finds great joy in bringing excitement and a hands-on approach to the science classroom. Jennifer and her husband, J.L., are blessed with seven children: Chandler, Bronson, Anna, Mary, Rachel, Patrick, and Charlie. When not teaching science, she enjoys gardening and studying nutrition. Her newest hobby is robotics, which she plans to integrate into Hunter’s science program.
