Kendall Wolfson obtained two degrees from the University of Virginia: B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce and M. Ed. in Social Foundations of Education from the Curry School of Education. Between earning her undergraduate degree and graduate school, Kendall worked for Booz Allen Hamilton as a senior consultant providing economic and business analysis for a variety of military clients in Washington, D.C. and spent a year in Spain helping to launch a gourmet culinary tourism company. Once she obtained her Masters in education, Kendall began her career in education reform at the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools in Washington, D.C. as an Education Pioneers Fellow. After evaluating next steps, she decided to postpone her offer to join the Teach for America Corps and instead accepted a position at a Title I charter school in New Orleans, LA. There she served as the Director of Finance and Operations for the K-8 school. Additionally, Kendall has worked as the Director of Operations for a national non-profit based in Washington, D.C. with chapters at universities across the country. Since 2017, Kendall has been passionate about classical Christian education as her children have progressed through the grammar stage of their education. She has served the Board of Directors of Hunter since 2018 and became Chairman in 2019. Kendall and her husband, Jonathan, have four children: JJ, Hartwell, and Waverly (all students at Hunter) and Magnolia.
