Lauren Davis earned her Master of Public Administration with coursework in nonprofit leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, she came to Richmond in 2000 to attend the University of Richmond for her undergraduate degree in Spanish. Lauren worked for Richmond-based nonprofit World Pediatric Project for ten years, recruiting, preparing, and translating for pediatric surgical specialists making recurring training visits to Central America and the Caribbean. Following those years, she relished staying at home to raise her three young children. Lauren, her husband, Jeff, and their children came to Hunter four years ago and Lauren now co-leads the school’s after-school Bible study and crafting club, Daughters of the King. When not at Hunter, Lauren enjoys finding and cooking new recipes, exploring Richmond’s parks with her family, and reading historical fiction.
