Mrs. Lauren Karidis earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from Longwood University and her Master's Degree in Multimedia Journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University. After graduating from VCU and deciding not to pursue a career in journalism, Lauren returned to Longwood University to work in the Office of Admissions, where she has worn various hats over the past 14 years. Lauren is excited to share her passion for admissions and looks forward to partnering with parents as they walk through the process of finding a Christ-focused education for their children.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys reading, serving on the greeter team at Hope Church, eating a taco (or two), and making memories with her family. Lauren and her husband, AJ, have three children - Hunter students Claire and Caroline, and future Hunter student Luke.
