Mrs. Nancy Loyd

Mrs. Nancy Loyd earned her Bachelor of Arts with Honors at Auburn University, majoring in Political Science. Some years later, Mrs. Loyd earned her Master of Teaching in Early Childhood Education with certification from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has taught in three different school districts in the Richmond area. She "unretired" to join HCCS, answering the call to make a difference in these challenging times. Mrs. Loyd is honored to be a member of the faculty of Hunter, teaching math to the students and getting to know them, their parents, and other faculty members. She hopes to share her love of the Lord and of teaching the subject of math in the framework of classical education. She and her husband, Lawrence, are the parents of three married adult children and are the grandparents of seven grandchildren. Nancy is active in Third Church, Community Bible Study, and enjoys travel, gardening, and reading.
