Mrs. Susan Petrillo graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Medical Illustration. She had an established career of 12 years specializing in the design and creation of interactive media used for communication and teaching in the scientific, medical, and pharmaceutical industries. Over the past 10 years God has used and transformed her skills of communicating and teaching, applying them to the field of Children’s Ministry and Christian education. In 2016 she received her Children’s Ministry Certification from the Baptist Mission Board of Virginia. This unique career path has given Susan the ability and the passion to teach from a biblical worldview in creative ways, striving to inspire discovery and enthusiasm for learning in the classroom environment. Susan and her husband Joe are blessed with a son, Jake, attending his final year at Middle Tennessee State University. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, birdwatching, and reading.
