The role of teachers in classical Christian education is unique. Teaching is first and foremost a spiritual gift and missionary calling. Hunter seeks teachers who are servants of Christ, passionate about weaving connections of God’s hand into all subject matter and into their daily interactions with students. Teachers at Hunter are servant leaders; their relentless pursuit of learning and love of their subject matter inspires students to become passionate learners themselves and to seek knowledge for the fulfillment it brings and not for the grades it produces. Our teachers have gained their scholarship not only through formal education or subject matter degrees but also informally through independent life experiences and study. Hunter teachers are nurturers, life mentors, and partners with parents in the formation of our students.
